Sunday was dominated by low temperatures (it was 33 F at 7:00 AM, pretty cold for the Houston area), Lord of the Rings (all three movies were shown back to back on TBS), house painting and sick girls. Paula had a fever and was very congested. She spent all day on the couch, drifting in and out of sleep. Isabel seemed fine all day, but threw up at night, and again this morning. I took them both to the doctor today and it turns out they have strep throat. They both got a prescription for antibiotics.
I should say that, all in all, it was a good day.

oh how I hope your little ones are feeling better soon! I hate the sickness....sigh.
They will be alright. Paula is very strong. She felt queasy, but never threw up. And Isabel is as active as ever. Both of them have been in good spirits today. And yesterday was a pleasant day. Paula and I did not fight at all, and I am sure it had to do with her being sick.
I can't believe that I missed Lord of the Rings! I am such a fan...
I hope the children get well soon.
