Waxing Moon- Almost there

I took this photo to participate in the June photography challenge at the blog One Man's Travels. This is the first time I participate and my entry is quite literal, entirely on purpose. I love looking at the Moon, but this is the first time that I have actually taken a picture of it. What I like about this picture is how the shape of the almost-full Moon gradually fades into darkness.

  4. Brilliant!!! What a fantastic photograph... It perfectly captures everything that was intended by the challenge. The colours, the detail, the emotion.... truly mystical!

I am like you, I love looking at the moon. My mind immediately wanders off into nowhere, as I try and imagine the people in history that have looked up and seen the same view.

I am so glad that you took part, your interpretation is stunning!

  5. Hi I took part in Grahams challenge too. I think the pitch black sky is a beautiful contract to the golden colour of the moon in your photo.

Well done on your first try of shooting the moon.

  7. Oh your moon shot is so beautiful!!!! It is deep and silent and stills everything inside me. I love it.

I am also enjoying the enthusiastic photos of your beautiful little girl. Such a delight she is, full of life and smiling and totally unafraid.

You have lovely and magical site. Jumping with LIFE! Good for you!
