Yay for her! I remember the transition between 5th and 6th grade being a sort of important time for me. I didn't feel like a "little kid" anymore. That was a big deal to me, as I have a sister who's eight years younger and most of our cousins were born the same year she was. It was a time that helped me establish my own identity even within our extended family. So I can't help but be a little excited to hear another girl has reached that age. :)
