This video is a little cheesy (it's old), but I love the song. It's lyrics are a story that sounds like a legend or mythology. A gypsy woman is lonely and asks the Moon to help her get a man. The Moon will help, but only if the woman gives up her firstborn. The gypsy woman agrees, and she gets her man. A baby is born with fair skin and light eyes, and the man gets furious because he thinks it's not his, so he slays the woman and abandons the child on a hilltop, where the Moon retrieves him.
