I am so glad that today is better for you! I do not suffer from this sort of trouble, but my DH does. Sometimes reading your thoughts helps me be more understanding of DH. Thank you!
Tide is a good way of describing that feeling that overcomes us and tries to wash us away. I am so glad it has retreated and you are feeling yourself on steady ground again. If only we could always remember at the time that it is only temporary. You show a great amount of courage!
I'm so glad to hear that your blues have faded! I get struck by the blues from time to time - sometimes it's hormones (ahh the pleasures of being a woman!) but sometimes I'm not able to pinpoint the origin of it. Usually it will fade and often times just spending some time with my hubby, chatting lightly about nothing in particular will help. Once, and this is the honest truth, a handful of chocolate covered almonds (both dark and milk chocolate) suddenly wiped away my blues. Ever since then, I always give chocolate a try and believe in its awesome power, unquestionably!
